Any ideas on getting a bit more punch out of the old grey.
Its a good old thing no smoke plenty compression ect.
I dont really want to go the expence of a red motor conv. If i can get a bit more stick out of the old girl i will be happy...?

first and cheapest performance mod is to make sure that flooring the accelerator is giving full throttle to the carby. ie wide open.  It's surprising how many don't.

mild cam, head job ( bigger valves and a ported), extractors, twin strommies, alloy or steel timming gear is good ..
