Blacky
I would just like to take a moment of your time, I wish you all the best with you new car and hope to see progress photos as you wash and polish it back to its former glory.

Best of luck in your new venture

Yeah it was sold new at Kyle motors and has been in Kal all its life, bought it from Des Aitken who lives on Wilson street in that house that looks like two soccer balls cut in half - you know the one I mean ?

Blacky,

Good score.  Everything about that ute is way cool, especially that rack.  Surferboy 'd love that, a real solid mount for the Malibu.

I know that you're asking about hopped up grey but this one looks like one you'd keep as a stocker.

Whatever way you go with it, keep us posted.

Cheers

G`day Spinner, the original plan for this ute was going to be something along the lines of Harko`s but when I had a good look at it , it is too good (i.e. original) to butcher.
The new plan is to restore to original with the exception of a few mods to the motor, lowered, and a set of wide steel rims , sort of a period hotty , and can be returned to original in a day Grin
