Did anyone catch the news last night, of a RED and WHITE FC DOORSLAMMER that got loose and smashed into both side walls of the drag strip ( not sure which strip it was...maybe WSID ).

The FC Doorslammer was pictured in Street Machine a coupl of issues back, and was stated as an ALL STEEL BODY FC Doorslammer.

They are a new team I think and have just stepped up to this class.

I saw it on the news last night, but just like all NON-FOOTBALL stories, it was given about 10 seconds of footage.  All I saw, was the FC taking off the line, getting loose, and bouncing of his lane's side wall, then crossed over and smashed into the other lane's side wall....very messy...lucky to come out alive !

Any-one else get to see it ?

No Mark, Didn't see it, however I agree with your comment about p1$$ poor coverage of NON-FOOTBALL  events such as motoring shows , road tests, drags, ralleys, hill climbs, historic racing and the like.

Yep...that's the one.........bit better looking then though !

She's a bit sad at present on would think.

Great to see a Doorslammer that actually looks like a real FC .

I hope they get the car back on the track  real soon, and that the driver is ok.
