Emu
It is starting to look as if you have employed the services of what could be deemed as the "HISTORIC HOLDEN" Extreme Make Over Restoration Rescue Team.
Shit I might have to reserve the rights to that one and have my own reality TV show.
Now to think of a name:
*The Block n Tackle,
*Rusty Restoration Rescue, or
* Huh

Hmmm

Hilda is looking great Emu...! Keep those progress shots coming...! Shocked

On the reality TV idea.... I was talking to someone from the US a few weeks ago, and they have one over there (I believe only recently on cable TV). A TV show where they follow the progress of a vehicle restoration.... Chevs and the like. Would be an excellent show if it came over here and focused on local cars.
When I heard about it thought it would be an instant hit over here... at least with the guys on this forum. It also sounded like a bit like the videos the streetneat is doing I guess. Not sure if they have a time limit or budgets etc, but it sounded pretty interesting....

Great to hear Hilda is progressing well... love the pix Wink
Cheers
Les...

Pay-TV have a couple of "reality" automotive shows. There is one that I am dying to see that follows Chip Foose (well known hot-rodder) as he surprises someone by taking their car and doing an "extreme makeover".

In the mean-time there is Orange County Choppers (http://www.orangecountychoppers.com) that show a father/son team and their chopper building business.
and
A car is Re-born that follows an funny pom rebuilding an E-type Jag.

Top of "A' pillars all done. Just the bottom L/H & R/H "A" pillar & inner & outer sills & cowl vent to go. Oh & a little section of the floor.

Soon should be one happy Emu running about the Gold Coast. Wink

Of course there will be a slight fee to pay, like doing a bit of work on the phantomibile?

Here's some more of the Sarge's handiwork. This is along the back of the wagon. Often when this bit is repaired you lose the little ridge along the rubber channel. Not with Sarge n Kev!! Cheesy

Here's another shot of the section.

Have ya done anything like that to your car in the last 24 hours Kiwi?

By the way...... I just dropped over to the Sarge's house with a 12 pack of Crown Lagers, just in case your offer of beer had any influence. Sarge said.. "Who'd work for Kiwi beer anyway".
