Some of you may have seen the odd question posted here from a user called "MalFE".

Mal is one of our NSW Club members, and has been for about 12 months. Mal has an original Grey FE that he has owned since brand new. The car was driven by Mal and his family for many years, eventually becoming the second car - basically the family "hack'. Mal retired and has been slowly bringing the car back to driveable conditon, doing all the work himself, as he is a mechanic by trade and was an RTA inspector for many years. He even repainted it in his garage and it looks like new.

He sent me an SMS today that indicated that he now has the car REGISTERED on club plates, so I just wanted to publicly congratulate Mal, he's a fantastic fella and I can't wait to see him at the next club event in his car. I'll grab some photos of Mal and the car and post them.

Another one returns to the road  Grin

CONGRATULATIONS MAL!!!

Cheers,

Craig.

My computer hasn't been working for a few days, now it is working I was about to write a message with the
heading "Another FE on the road"
Thanks Craig for your advice and support since I joined the club also thanks to the committee and members of the NSW club.
The forum has a wealth of  info on it which has been a big help.
Still have plenty of work to do chroming, engine and gear box reconditioning etc.
I have a few old black and white photos of the car including one when the car was new with me beside it
plus restoration progress photos which I will post later
