Looking good Wasim, reminds me of my Levant Green FE
Love the Morry Van, are you going to retain the sign writing

Hey Gary . At least you won't have too much trouble restoring the " bright work". From memory instead of diecast, the poms got something correct by using brass` Wish the Holden heavies had decided to do the same. Kevin.

Everyone that sees the Morry asks the same thing - are you going to keep the sign writing.
I bought it because it's a panel van with little rust (although rough). It has Morris Major Elite 1600 running gear - so a bit more oomph.
Whilst not set on a plan for the car - the thought has crossed my mind to do a custom 1970's style??
First things first - finish the FC ute.
Cheers, Wasim

Hi Wasim,
Like what you have done for the bed in the tray. I assume it is 25mm stainless over ply. If you don't mine me asking how many beer tokens did the stainless set you back? Cheers

The "stainless" flat bar are alloy ones from Bunnings - can't remember the price , only know they were a lot cheaper than stainless or chrome - I just rounded the ends and polished them.
The extra switches (FC knobs) next to the radio and heater tap and heater fan - the other two on the other side are fog lights and rear window demister.
All going to plan it should be back on the road this Friday.
Cheers

Thanks Wasim, I'll check out Bunnings for the flat bar. Best of luck for Friday - a huge milestone.

Put a fork in it and call it done! After 6 years and about 3,100 hours in the shed it’s finished. Really pleased with it especially considering I did about 95% of it myself. Still some minor finishing things to do like front mud flaps, side mirrors and drivers side weather shield to go on (without scratching it!) Cheers, Wasim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
