Hello,
I want to remove and replace the windlace in my ute whilst leaving the headlining in place. I've removed it up to the headlining already.

Do I just carefully cut it out just below the headlining and will the new windlace be able to be pushed into the 'groove' or will it be fouled by the old material left in the 'groove'?

Thanks in advance, Wasim.

No, don’t cut it. It should come out with a little jiggling to unhook it from the metal teeth which hold it and the headlining in place.

Fantastic mcl1959 - just got it all out - with no damage to either windlace or headlining.

Must remember - JIGGLE before thinking about CUTTING!  Smiley
