Does anybody know about the FC featured in the ABC series Going Country?

I am 100% sure it's the same FC featured on the promo of Julia Zemiro's "Home Delivery"

Which makes me wonder if the ABC have acquired it along the way, or have an arrangement with its owner. If the latter, it's a very accommodating arrangement, because Justine Clark was driving it around the gravel roads of Silverton last night Grin

Anyway, I noticed last night it has an FB or EK bonnet mascot, which makes me suspect it might be a car we saw turn up at Grey Pride once. I have an idea the owner joined the NSW club, but only briefly. It didn't have the number plates then it has now, which are notably unusual in that they are original style plates, but don't start with a "B", so not original for an FC.

I have a photo of that car from Grey Pride somewhere...

cheers

This is the one which Julia used in perth for the home delivery show with Dave Faulkner from the Hoodoo Gurus.
It has just been bought from Busselton in WA and now resides back in SA.

Cheers Stewy.  Cool

The FC is owned by Harry Elvin, he is the President of The Lions Pride Club NSW, he did buy the car from a guy from south of Sydney & I believe he was a member of the FE FC Club NSW.

Yep.  I thought it was the car that turned up for "Cops and Rodders" in Engadine a few years back.  And I noticed that the ABC hung NSW number plates from about 1964 onto it for last night's episode.

Thanks everyone for the additional info. I was right about it being the car from Grey Pride, but that's about it  Roll Eyes
