Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for removing surface rust and rust spots from the paint on an original FC sedan that was sitting in a farm shed for over 40 years until a few years ago.
It has its original green Army paint but has surface rust over the top of roof , bonnet and boot and i tried extra cut polish by hand and it works but very very slowly.
Any ideas of something i can use thats quicker but NOT too harsh that it will take all the paint off.
Any tricks guys??
Thanks in advance , Damo.

Thanks Nick.
Trying to avoid a buff.
It would definitely do the job but i dont want to take too much paint off it.
Prefer to do it by hand but looking for something i can apply that might break down the rust stains on the paint.
Its more rust stains on top of the paint by the look of it.
I tried a bit of CLR clear on a rag but didnt seem to do much. :-(
Thanks for the welcome on my other post, re the Army sedan.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to carefully remove rust stains and spots from paint?
Thank you.
