Hood liner in my Ute is in pretty good nick -apart from the overspray from when respray was done (previous owner is still dirty about it!).  Angry

Any ideas on what has any chance of removing the paint?

If the respray was done with two-pack paint, your chances may not be good.
See whether you can dislodge any of the overspray by scraping gently with a fingernail.  I'd hesitate to suggest anything stronger than a scrubbing brush (gently!) and warm soapy water.

Remember: if your Holden's not leaking oil, it doesn't have any.

Thanks Rob, yeah I believe it was a two pack so I thought we would have buckleys - but had to ask

I had the same problem, so I tried wax and grease remover, with a nail brush (gently) - worked well.!
