I've done it before, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong again

Went into my profile to change my profile picture
went to forum profile information
ticked  I will upload my own picture
clicked   Browse
went to my pictures folder and clicked on the picture i want to use (j.peg image  36.2KB)
info shows up in the box
clicked on   change profile   at bottom of page

but my profile pic has remained the same ?

I changed the text and that worked

HELP

If you expect an image (or any web content really) to change and it doesn't, often a forced refresh helps. Ctrl-F5 (PC) or Cmd-R (Mac)

cheers

Hi Gordon,
I think you need to go to the link under that one which is " I will upload my own picture "
There is a browse associated with this to allow you to upload.

Good Luck

Under profile information I clicked

 I have my own pic:
Specify your own avatar by URL. (ex: http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif)

Then pasted the URL from tinypic website for the photo I previously uploaded....

Trying to do the avatar pic. Are you supposed to load your pictures to mypage.com first and then use tinypic to upload from there to this site?
Is this the same process to load pictures here onto threads as well?
Thanks, Neil
