I've just fitted twin strombergs to a stock 138 grey motor with 45 main jets as recommended in other posts but still running extremely rich.  Seems smaller jet sizes required.  Has anyone else had similar problems & how did they overcome them.
Thanks,
Pete

Even though I have triples, I cant think of my main jet sizes, make sure all your jets and power valves are the same size. I had to use FX power valves and idle tubes as these are smaller. With a stock motor you may have to use throat restrictors. I had to use these even though my motor is a little bit warm.

Colin.
