A great thread about racing early Holdens, includes some FE FC race cars and lots of hot greys.

Love this photo! Anyone in Queensland with the slightest interest in Grey motors would be familiar with the name John Kean, and this was his FC in the early days of Appendix J at what looks like Hungry corner at Lakeside. I still remember helping my dad and John mask out those white stripes in his backyard when i was a kid in the eighties! John also had one of the best collection of Grey motors including multiple Repco Crossflows, powering both of his FX's, a Waggot, and a Dunstan. Johns now in his 60's so its awesome to see he's back out at Lakeside still doing laps in his Irving headed red motored FX.

There was a big write up in "unique cars" the latest edition about Lakeside.
