Huh hi, i`m running a hr disc. front end, with hr drums on rear ( using hk wheel cyl). i was recently told by a brake repairer that ineed to upsize the master cyl. in order to stop the pedal feeling so hard.  ( i am running the standard master, using a remote vh 40 booster)     .any clues?

Hi Graham
I am using the same setup, except that I am using HR rear wheel cylinders. I initially had problems with a hard pedal, which turned out to be caused by a pinhole in the VH44 diaphram (it was a new booster too!!). I detected the problem when I noticed the egine run slightly rougher when applying the brakes. A new diaphram solved the problem and it has a nice feeling pedal now.
Cheers

Graham - why did you upgrade to HK wheel cylinders?
I agree that the HR rears would be the best (that is the HR rear sized for disc front)
