Hi JD,
Haven't been on the forum for awhile mainly due to work. Sorry to hear about your chrome. I have two painted rear taillight rims if you need them. Dug them out today and both look pretty good condition just need some bolts. No charge if it helps you get this closer to being finished. regards Brett

Glovebox lid ready to go after polishing parts.
The thinners trick worked a treat for the ID tag and cleaning the gas struts for the tonneau as well!

Sorry for a seemingly silly question but say if a 2k part already clear coated is to be stored did anyone say the best way to store it. Looks great.

Big day on the ute today!  Grin Happy days!!!

One bumperette on, ground slots in tail lights to fit VT wiring and plugs, fitted radiator brackets, overflow pipe and horns... Rest of the day wiring up headlights, blinkers and the horns. Thankfully all worked first go.

Thought I would show the radiator set up again for those who have been asking questions.
More wiring tomorrow.

Cheers

JB, I think you would know this already but just in case. Make sure you put some old screws in the the threaded areas before chroming or the threads will be cactus afterwards. Regards Brett

Had a good few days on the ute.

All finished in here, except for a plate to cover where the wiper motor would have gone.

Number plate on with the LED lights. They are different but look good for $19 off eBay.

Put the cowl vent rubber and the cowl vent on, got the washer bottle working and run the hoses. Just have to find the clips to secure it to the bonnet.
Wired the door switches for the interior lights and fitted the overhead light in the car.
Hopefully the new windows arrive this week and we will get started on them next.

Good fun but back to NZ tomorrow.  Sad
