When aftermarket (Smiths,Nasco,Tao etc) heaters were installed, was there ever a "particular" location that they were placed other than just"under the dash, somewhere".I have removed the old style fresh air blow through type heater from the black FC and welded up the holes as I have a slightly later electric heater to install.I have seen them in the middle and also off to the passenger side but am wondering if there was supposed to be a specific location.

Cheers,Jamie.

No the instructions are not specific describing exactly where to drill holes. The Nasco heater was specific and even gave a template with the instructions as to where to drill the holes.
