:oi remember grand ralley's when they where new and they use to come apart! had em happen to my fc,not once but twice!! never used em again! apart from that the tyres sitting for 20years would not do em any good,as the rubber would go hard and be dangerous in the wet.i few years ago i had to change my original tyres of my low milage /unrestored ht brougham,ok the tyres were 30odd years old ,but because they had gone "hard" made the car ride like a brick,BUT during the annual nsw rego brake test it failed because the car just slid and slid when doing a emergency stop,could not believe it ,only i watched it happen .bought new tyres that day, still own the car only kept the original tyres to put on the car during shows
