I can't believe that there wouldn't be a market for repro ones of these.  Surely some enterprising bloke could make these and sell them for $100 per pair?

$800+ for NOS in box would make me happy enough to have a repro set on my car.

That is actually 2 x 1/2 sets.
2 rear frames.
The fronts were plain and had no script.

Probably went onto a Simca or something similar.
Holden script would be useless in that case.  Grin

The new owner should be able to find some plain ones and be able to make up 2 sets. Could always relist and recoupe his $$$$??

Makes me cry  Cry when I think that I put a brand new set straight out of the packet onto my FC shortly before it was stolen.  Angry Angry

I was talking to Dean at Rares in Sydney recently and hew said they want to make repos of these. He thinks there is some tooling around somewhere and they are looking for it. Rares are certainly on to it, so it seems in due course we may be able to buy these.
