Hi everyone.

Does anyone recondition the original style harmonic balancers? I replaced the one on Nev's engine but it is much larger than the original requiring a different fan belt.

Cheers

G'day John, I fitted an aftermarket one to the grey in our wagon no probs, have you checked that your belt tensioner is on the correct or an appropriate water pump bolt to allow adjustment.

PS did you get the motor done already?

If the one you fitted runs a wider belt this balancer is off an FX/FJ as they ran a B section rather A section belt.  JDM industries in Victoria does harmonic balancers ph.0394385291.  Rares also do a reproduction balancer but they are not the same as original.
               Hope this helps
