Hi All.
Thought some of you might like to see an advert I recently acquired. I collect all FE FC adverts (and a few others) and would be happy to post pics of some on a regular basis. Let me know if you would be interested in this. If you have an advert you would like to donate to my collection, let me know. Grin

FE Advert from House and Garden, April 57.

Alex

Hi  Alex
Do you collect Info on other models.

I have a "souvenir program" from the " Canadian and Lucky HELL DRIVERS"   Starring the  "EH" Holden.
"See the NEW 179 Holden shot from a cannon"

I must have been about 10 when I saw the show at the local showground here in Young , NSW .  The program says "season 1963-1964, 2nd Australian Tour". and has 20 pages. It has write-ups on the drivers , pics of cars "2 wheeling" and cars going over jumps with people standing on roof racks. And YES , a pic of an "EH" coming out of a cannon.

I would be only too happy to make a copy and send it to you,  (have got to hang onto this one , I've had it 39 years already .  hehehe)

If you are interested just send me an "IM"  or a note here and we'll sort something out .   ( same goes for anyone else who might be interested )

"EH's" are  OK   but   " FE/FC's" still the best  Grin

Hi Alex, bloody good idea what about a section in here
on adverts and local and not so local history on our fav
model holdens.I for one would love to do a bit of research, and dig up old articles or ads or promotions, from back in the days where cars were strong reliable and stylish, and music was played by musicians ,and ladies liked to be wined and dined before
you got to show em your riff red and black back seat. Tongue
Anyway just a thought.
Ps....Norm i would love to see the old EH in action.
Cheers BRAD...

Updating pic.
Be on the look out whilst I update all these old posts to make the pics work.
And when that's done, I will add some new ones.  Wink
