The Canberra Rod And Kustom Krooze is on Fri 26th, Sat 27th and Sun 28th of January at the White Ibis Resort just outside Canberra.
Of interest to some from Sydney that don't want to travel the distance, on Sat 27th the run will be heading for Goulburn, which means only half the trip.
The cars will be in town from 10.45AM - 1PM.
This run is well attended by hot Rods and Customs and should make for a great day trip.
I am planning to head down, and invite anyone else interested in the cruise to let me know here.
If we have enough interest, we can set a meeting time at the Pheasants Nest truck stop.
Regards
Alex

Count me in Alex.

One last outing before i overhaul the motor and box... i'm hoping she will hold up for the trip to Goulburn and back...

I should have an interesting new addition to the wagon to show as well.  Shocked

Cheers

No car this year (again Embarrassed )  but hoping to make it to Goulburn on the saturday. Even if i have to drive the wifes magna, definately love to catch up with some of you over a cold one, it would have to be a beer though as given the current drought conditions in the town water may be out of the question Grin.

i'll be putting out the call before the day.

cheers

For those of us in Canberra, can you tell us where to see the cars?  The itinerary on the CRAKK site says there is a run on the Friday but doesn't give any details about where the public might catch a look at the cars.
Cheers,
David

hi David, from memory they are cruzing to Queanbeyan on the Friday for a show and shine, my guess would be the showground but i could be wrong.

Saturday is the cruise to Goulburn for a show and shine down the main street, this is also to help the organisers work out traffic problems/ arrangements for the 2007 Street Rod Nationals which is in Goulburn over Easter ( i think its easter anyway).
Then the Sunday is the cruise / muckaround at the White Ibis caravan park at Hawks Nest, just Nth of Canberra on the Hume Hwy.
check out the ozrodders website http://www.ozrodders.com/board/index.php

cheers

OK. Looks like we have a few starters.
I suggest we meet at the Pheasants Nest truck stop at 8:30 am, with the intention to leave at 9:00 am sharp.
This should allow us to cruise into Goulburn ahead of the rods so we don't miss out on anything.
Anyone have a different point of view on this?

Ok the latest is that the cars will still be going to Goulburn on Saturday leaving Canberra around 10:00, im still trying to find out what time the show n shine starts.

But there has been a change, instead of Queanbeyan on the Friday there will now be a show and shine at Federation Square in Canberra from 11:00 till 1.30.

woohoo walking distance down the road from home and with a pub close by, i might have to get a lift back Grin

see youse there

Well, the trip to Goulburn was a nice day out, though not as many rods made the run as I expected. Only about 40-50 cars. It was still a good day, with Ed taking his FE wagon and Jonesy in his LJ. I hitched a ride with John Rap in the company wagon, which gave me an opportunity to snap a few pics whilst on the road.
Here are a few pics, with the others found in this album:
