Looks more like a dash from a boat. I think Darcy has pretty much summed it up for me. But each to their own

Well said Darcy.
The owner must have driven a mini with the speedo in the middle of the dash, and wanted to recreate this.  It takes all kinds.
There were some wild mods done on vans over the years, so I don't suppose this was the worst. Tongue

Nick
Now is the time for you to consider this for your Wagon. Grin I am pretty sure you could strike a good deal with the dash. Wink

Who here like me is over 40 and can remember the 70's creations?
This sort of thing was common on every type of car including vans - it all looks pretty bad now, but it was cool then

I have a timber dash on my garage wall. It is actually full length, made to cover the entire dash. Has holes cut above steering column for gauges and a timber glovebox door. It was to be fitted into a car with a padded black tuck and roll dash top. This was circa 68 (I was 5) and would have been trick back then. I plan to keep it on the wall as a piece of art.
Regards
