Talk about "When Fools And Their Money Start Partying"

A set of Holden Playing Cards were on Ebay today, and with 12 mins to go they were going for $62.  Not exactly cheap, but not outrageous either considering they were an unopened, double-pack in box.

With 2 mins to go I banged on a bid of $65, and was immediately outbid.  No worries, save my money.  A few seconds later, SOLD! to some guy called Homer J Simpson for $106.49.

Doh! Indeed.  Roll Eyes

cheers

I would say it was a good buy,
But hey that is my opinion.

10 years ago i paid $100 for a "NEVER OPENED"
brand spanking new not a single crease  where the front cover folds over still wrapped in plastic FE/FC workshop Manual with white pages not old faded yellow ones.
I would say homer has made an investment and so have i.

Like i said "hey thats my opinion"
Cheers Nunzio
