Hey guys

I want to trim the boot of my FC sedan. When I bought the car, the boot was bare, and still is. Before I start, I would like to know the dimensions of the boot, so that I don’t waste any materials if I get it wrong. What I’m asking is this:

If anyone has trimmed out their boot themselves, could you post the measurements, so that I can check them out with mine? If someone has a template that would be a great help. Has anyone encountered any problems/traps with their measurements/trimming? The boot of the sedan is pretty curvy and has some tricky spots.

p.s. I'm not sure whether to use marine carpet or not. Was hoping to use tru-fit carpet, as it is claimed not to rot. Should I use an underlay?

I'm also not sure what type of wood should I use.

Regards,

Josh.
