had a similar problem years ago, all i did was to "persuade" the wheel off with a mallet from the back of the wheel just a few taps as close to the column as possible, just remeber to keep the retaining nut on the shaft as you pull the wheel off,  Wink

the first time i pulled a steering wheel off i forgot to do this part, resulting in one very sore and bloody nose. Embarrassed Embarrassed
