She does many different diy vids that are very factual and informative. I poster he Xmas tree one in the shed. She is actually an actress and comedian but she likes her diy as a hobby

I think she is a great sport. These vids started as a bit of fun cos she is an actress/comedian. But she does a good job of a parody of many of the chicks out there who YouTube lol.

Does anyone know or has anyone fitted gas struts to a boot lid and if so do they work well, I reckon they can be fitted at the lower edge of the hinges. Small struts I have seen before but not sure what on. Cheers Frankie

Funny, our vf has 2 small boot struts and when someone doesn't suspect it opens up really forcefully. They are quite small ones.

You didn't notice the wing nut under the tray? Anyway regarding the gas struts .I just fitted a pair under the boot lid of the Vauxhall coupe .I used two, reasoning that would open the boot square and make it easier to line up but was concerned about the strength of some of these struts as my uncle over powered the tailgate of his Hilux and bent it when closing . I bought a new set of Hilux upper tailgate struts and they work beautifully .Haydn

Along similar lines... Personally I don't like the loss of practicality, but it might give some ideas.

Hi Frankie, Not mine. I remembered I saw this at the Melbourne Rod Show last year. From a very nice Special belonging to Mark and Lynette Foster, according to the info board. They used 2. Looks like the LHS interferes with the spare somewhat but hard to tell for sure.
