I am after the under floor brace in the trans tunnel to repair my son's car.
The previous owners attempt at a 4 speed conversion has left the original one in tatters.

Has the floor been lifted ? I guess you are talking about the subframe section over the gearbox .We cut these and fabricated them in three pieces for years , then when re-lifting my  floor for the BorgWarner 5 speed I noticed an old 14" rim under the bench and decided that the centre step on the rim looked like what I had been fabricating  for years ,so I cut about 2/5 of it and used that for a replacement subframe section .
