i know the old turn the leaves over method and take some out whatever just wondering from people with experience how many leaves are good and how little arent i have 2 inch blocks which are gonna go , i will flip the eyes but wondering about how many leaves are good seen blokes put the leaves upside down but? mines a ute so i guess i have alot ,and could lose some but i dont want a spongey arse end cause its nice right now i know how to de arch springs by the way so de arch and reversed eye i wanna lose about 4 inches? any input appreciated...........thanks any tales of lowering too much or funny stories also appreciated bring it on...........

Send them to dumbrell springs at newcastle and have them re set as low as you want stick to your ute springs.

thanks pete i wanna do it myself. gonna use the old cold press method with a bottle jack in a jig thats why i am asking about peoples experiences of too low or not enough leaves etc thanks for the answer!

He just had 2.8kg of hair chopped off he's me mate. Didn't really wanna sell them just was helping him out . I am near Newcastle.
I would say your looking at 3 inch lower over standard.

and pete , i really appreciate that mate so those springs are what? 80mm or so from flat yeah? i am a bit wary of lowered springs as i put them in my hd when i was a kid, they were meant to be inch and a half lower and they actually raised the car (the standardones obviously were sagged) i am very fussy and i want it about 1 1/2 inches lower than where it is now and i have 1 3/4 blocks so 4 inches would probably do it might be time for a new tunnel
