People,

The forum (and indeed all sub-sites within fefcholden.org.au) will be unavailable between 10pm Thursday and 7am Friday (EST). This is due to a server replacement/migration by our hosts.

We expect normal service to be resumed around 7am Friday, however there is always the possibility of residual weirdness. You'll know when normal service has been resumed, as normal service will have been resumed.

In the meantime, you'll get a message that the forum is unavailable.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Cancel that.

It would seem our hosts have under-promised and over-delivered, and did the migration last night. So apologies if you were on the forum between 0000 and 0230 last night, it's possible any posts created in that time may have disappeared.

The good news is that the new server seems to all be working OK, and the specs of the new hardware suggest it can only be faster than it was.

If you do discover anything on the site that's misbehaving (apart from the usual forum members Kiss), please let me know.
