Up for sale is my FE VAN it is just a rolling shell but has tags attached and these are worth big bucks alone.

I will try to get some pics up shortly.I just don't have the time to do any thing with it.

It needs floors and sills and maybe a cut and shut as the dash has been cut out and the firewall butchered.

It is good around the fuel tank.

It owes me around two grand so i would like to get my money back.

PM me with any questions or any  further info.

 Cheers Neil

O'Malley what are the numbers on the tags you have?

There are 2 reasons why they are worth good money
1) There are people out there who collect tags from all different body styles - FE van is a rare car to find therefore the tags are hard to get.
2) During restoration, tags sometimes get lost or are missing from a project that you buy - It is hard to find a  replacement tag for rare cars such as FE vans.

I know of one guy who paid $200 at a wreckers for an FE van tag for his project because of the second reason.
There was a genuine FC postal van at the Bendigo wrecking yard which sold for over $500 and was just a rusty old shell with hardly a thing on it - the buyer removed the tag and the rest of the van was crushed.
These are the details from that van
FC-2104-S10-7218A
S8-769
253-9751
333
Chassis number FC 46593 M
A postal van tag would come up for sale very rarely and the buyer was a collector.

I collect the details only (not the tags) from all FE & FC vehicles in whatever state of repair (even if it is just a tag) and would like the details from your tag if possible.
However I do have a lot of tags from various FE and FC (and other) cars that I have wrecked (about 100 or so) which are available if people need them or collect them.

Neil, I omitted to ask - can you supply the tag details and chassis number from your van as well. I don't think I have the details of this van recorded.

Thanks Ken
