Old wrecking yard full of stuff

If anybody in Victoria is interested in dropping in to Don's wrecking yard in Footscray, he is selling up everything and is keen for people to come in and have a look around and buy as much as they like.
Basically the yard was closed 20 years ago and most of the parts there are earlier than HQ.
Lots of FX FJ FE FC FB EK EJ EH HD HR
Members of the FE/FC club of Vic have made a few visits so a lot of the FE and FC stuff is picked over, but plenty of good stuff left from other models.
Apart from Holden stuff there is a bit of 40's and 50's American eg 1940's Oldsmobile horn ring, 1940's Desoto hubcaps to name a few I can remember.
Also lots of English stuff from the 50's including Austin, Hillman etc.
Do specialised in towbars and exhausts so there is quite a stock of this type of product. Lots of NOS HKTG single piece tailpipes which you can't get anymore. Also NOS pipes and mufflers for HR, HQ etc.  Tony actually got a NOS towbar for his FC!

He is open every Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 noon - prices are very fair but not giveaway so don't expect to take a boot load of stuff away for $50.
If you are conming from a long distance it may pay to give Don a ring on 9391 3800 just to make sure he is going to be there.

Forgot to give the address, it is in Somerville Rd Footscray just near the corner of Geelong road. It is down a little side lane behind a milk bar.  Just head down Geelong Rd from the city and turn right into Somerville Rd, then look out for a Milk bar on your right and just drive up the lane way beside the milkbar.

Mal he is only open on Saturday morning - as I said, it has been closed for a long time now and he is retired, but he just comes in on Saturday to sell the odd part.
