G'day all. Had the old girl converted to gas a while ago , since she is my daily driver(the 350 holley was very thirsty)Was very impressed with the job, and with the two thousand back from the government it was well worth it.

Great job on concealing the gauge and filler. My pet hate is a dirty great LPG filler punched through the quarter panel.

Well done.

BTW: What's the brake master cylinder out of?

Had the master cylinder done at Hoppers Stoppers in VIc , Great job was very happy. I'm not sure of make of the cylinder, but it is brand new, maybe Ken can supply more info on the cylinder.

The master is from an early Land Rover I think - it is one we use a lot of for early Holden not only because it is 1 inch bore diameter but because it has the mounting bolts in the right place.
Very adaption if you plane to use a remote booster like VH 40, but not very good for a mastervac conversion because the bolt pattern wont suit most boosters.

Cant notice any difference at all really, but a big difference in the wallet area.

Has anyone in the Wollongong area had the gas conversion? Looking for recommendations. Happy to go Soutern Sydney, western subs if anyone is really impressed by an installation
