What version of FC ute had all the side trim? Was it an optional extra or could you get them from the factory with all the special trim? I wonder how hard it would be to restore this one?

Paul, no utes came out with side trim - most have been added later. However some dealerships did fit side trim to promote sales. I have a pic of an FC ute with side trim in a GMH magazine dated 1959 and I also have a letter from GMH parts dept giving dealerships a "job lot" price and parts list for fitting side trims to FC utes. So they must have been somewhat popular as a dress up.
If they were ever factory fitted the side stripes would have been in one piece, not 2 pieces as they all are.
