This photo has recently appeared on my old high school's site.  Taken in Parramatta in 1960, marching to the school athletics carnival through the closed off streets of the CBD - wouldn't be allowed these days.

Alex,
I was still quite a few away from being at high school in 1960, but I FEEL that old some days lately.
Before anyone else makes a wise crack about it, I think it may be the walls of the Parramatta Jail in the background and, no, that was not where I spent my high school years either.
