Hello everyone, I thought it was time to introduce myself,I've been a member of the site for well over a year but never posted (pretty slack eh !) I owned a Brock Commodore for the last 4 years and having since sold that the weekend cruiser bug hit again so the search was on.I've found myself a 56 FE Special, some of you may have seen it on ebay recently. It's a good ol thing but will need fixing. Plans at the moment are to drive it around until reg is due and then pull it off the road for a tart up Here's a few pics of the new ride and our old Brocky...... Cheers, Azz.

Gday guys, The car is a joint venture between myself and the ol man, he has the panel - trim contacts and I'm a mechanic by trade.Hopefully the process of a resto should be pretty painless - we'll see (still undecided on which direction to go) As far as I was told, the car was a one owner then a young bloke got his hands on it, did some "quick repairs" and dressed it up as you see here. From what I've seen so far ,structurally the car is in good shape with only hanging panels needing attention.Obviously it'll need some parts but I'll bug you guys about that latter The engine and box have been recoe'd and it's been dropped at least 3".Going to have to sort something out with the rear bump stops,I love the stance but it's got no travel at all. The roof is lace painted and the car is painted in red oxide atm, with painted pinstripes on the gaurds ,dash and boot. Here's a closer shot of the boot and roof.... I used that niffty tool on the tech page to crunch the numbers and came up with this, maybe the number collectors can add it to their list. Cheers, Azz.

hey mate, i cant see the plates on the brocky, but if they were MAD 304, i knew the ex owner,, you wouldn't beleive what price he sold it for (to a car yard) this was prior to brocky's death, when they were still cheap,,

Ahh he must have been the second owner I couldnt track down. I got in touch with the original owners, lovely old couple that won the car in a raffle !! They had it 7-8 years only putting 3000 klms on it. I miss that car but now have the FE to play with Cheers, Azz.

Hey Azz Welcome to the forum. That's an interesting car you have there. I like it better with the black wheels. Regards Alex
