Hey guys,

i often see mini metal lathes advertised in ebay or on demonstration at Jaycar or similar.

how good are these things?

would they be good for turning up bushes and other sikmilar items?  or are they just cheap and nasty tools which will break as soon as you go to turn up something useful.

what sort of things do u look for when buying a lathe for home/hobby use.

I would love to have a lathe to turn up various bushes, adaptors and things.. is a mini lathe much use??
