I am only going to point this out because I can't have it as it is to far away Angry  but this motor has a cast alloy sideplate on it.  Looks like a JWL Equipped sideplate but is different to the photos I have seen of a couple before in that the oil breather outlet itself or the breather pipe has been modified to allow it to be reversed. The yellow is in my opinion terrible but it does seem to be a alloy sideplate non the less Smiley and a liitle bit of paint stripper would give you a good looking and very rare item.

The seller posted a revision yesterday saying no more bids the motor is sold.  He did not have on the ad that the motor was advertised elsewhere and there were already bids on it.  Does anyone know if this is allowed?

Also anyone know who may have convinced the seller to do this so they could buy it?  I want to find out more about the alloy sideplate!

Bit pissed off. Angry
Was going to buy, had organised freight from Brissy to here, all go with the guy, then spotted the "No more bids" revision.
I emailed him & he replied he had an offer that he was taking.
It IS illegal, no he is NOT allowed to do it & the scumbag who bought it out of auction is low as well.
An aution is just that.
Ah well, his loss, I would have bid to whatever to get that set up. Probably a fair bit more than he got off that guy.

People are still bidding after his "retraction", lets hope the "losing" bidder drops this sap right in it.

Another arse-wipe ebayer here -
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VL-COMMODORE_W0QQitemZ4639998442QQcategoryZ102240QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Starts bidding at $500 no reserve, but states he won't sell for less than $1000.

After a bit of research these people are within their "EvilBay" rights to end an auction early, although the joker with the grey motor hasn't really gone about it the right way.
