Here are a couple of progress shots on the "mock up" for the Custom Auto Expo.

As you can see the front is pretty low and that's with no motor on board! 2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch lowered springs with 50 series rubber on 13" rims   Shocked

This is only for the show, I'll be ripping the front end out for a detail and to replace ball-joints etc. So some 1" lowered HD springs will go in and it will be rolling on 14" rims after the show.

She's also had her first wash and polish, this week I track down bolts for the chrome work and finish the grille (tooth missing:))

215/50 Eagers on 13x6 ROH "Splats", I needed a couple of washers on the disc so that the rim cleared the lower control arm, this won't be a problem with the 14" rims.

Grille part should be ready next Tuesday, the engineering shop is trying to repair my "workmanship" Smiley

What you can't see in the photo is the "arse in the air", looks like a real '70s Street Machine, jacked up at the back. That is with lowered springs and a 40kg bag of cement in the boot too! The old springs were completely shagged so I got new ones made up with an extra leaf and reversed eyes (allows for further lowering is necessary).
