I have that mag. What a radical FE that must have been. Something like that must surely still be lurking in someones garage.
Thanks for the pics.

Woah it is too.
I just became the guy he wouldve wanted to punch out at a show but at first glance it looks like one of those ugly old Crowns.
Which by the way I just executed a search on and found that there are people just like you and I who are obsessed with them things too (The world is definitely an amazing place) And hell there are some ugly ugly models in their range from 1955 - 2004 ,Took em untill the 90s to look remotely decent.
For those of you who dare http://gate54.info/crown.htm

This is what it reminded me of - God forbid.
A mates old man had one of these he used in the Redex bash , He fitted a pop up sprinkler system to the astroturfed roof .
The petrol tank became the water tank and he would have a great laugh at the confused people watching in disbelief as he pulled into the servo filled the tank with water and drove away.

Hey Harko.
What have you got against the humble Crown. Make for some good parts for customising FC's......esp the 64 quad headlights.
Next time your considering an FE FC FB EK convertable, check out the chassis under the mid 70's version......track and wheelbase are very close.

Think long and hard before you reply to this post.......Wink
