G'Day all
I removed a Smiths door type heater from an FC ute that had the engine removed. It is complete with demister ducts and hoses.
Where do I connect the hoses and do the demisters get screwed through the dash vents as they were on the ute.

Gary,
The answer to your second question is yes.
I've had a look through my limited collection of grey motored engine bays, but don't have any shots that clearly show heater lines. Sorry.
cheers

Hi Gary
With the water pipes, one gets plumbed into the side of the water pump . The other goes to a tap fitted to the side of the lower thermostat housing. Sorry, have no pix either.
The demisters get screwed to the dash vents as per the ute. I've got a diagram of this if you need, also a template for fitting the heater.
Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony
If you could email me a copy of both that would be great.
Also got a mint Nasco Autoheat heater from the same farm hanging up in a shed.Dunno if you can shed any light on this it has a number M32051 or M32057 on the back and is similar to the Smiths.
Thanks
