Hi all on the forum just have one question for use all, I am looking at buying a fc sedan that used to be registered with a V8 in it, am I able to buy it and swap everything including firewall tags into my sedan and reregister with the V8 without going through the engineering side of it. I am in Victoria.   Thanks in advance Grubby.

I'd say no. It'll have to be  re registered and engineered.
Agreed with talking to engineer (don't mention car swapping bit)

So does that mean it can be done because it was once V8 registered, don't mind getting engineered again but just was not sure about getting it registered due to power weight crap!.  Also does anyone know of a good engineer I can see before I start in sth east suburbs Dandenong Vic. Thanks Grubby
