Was watching a 38 Ford pickup a few months back ..They wanted $28,000 buy now and starting bid of $27,500 and no one bid so that was that .. I kept it in my watched folder and it popped up again a few months later which was a week ago or so .. Start price was low around $100.00 and that auction flew up to $20,000 in about 3 days and on the last day cracked $26,500.
So I thought to myself how long it would take them to put it back on ( Bid Up).. Four days and it was back on ..
I sent a message and asked the question that I thought this had sold and how much the buy it now price was  .. Message back was $28,500 thanks ,no mention of the miss sale ..
Just a side note .. Not implying this is what went on with this auction ...

I was watching that auction too... it was listed as 30,000 buy it now, late last year. then as you said popped up twice again in quick succession.

Glen Innes Hot Rod Shop, was the first seller, then went to his private seller account.
