Help wiring single speed wiper motor

I have worked out the red/green wires get things moving, but it does not park, there is a third contact under neath (black wire).
Any help appreciated

I'm not positive Stinky as I haven't wired one in a long time but I'm pretty sure you need a another power wire not connected to the switch so that when you turn them off they still keep going till they get to the "park" position, there is a setup like a rotor button under the top where you have the wires attached with a gap in it and it will stop once the rotor arm reaches the gap, I'm fairly sure the black is the earth and the other power one goes where the green wire is now, if you undo the nut in the middle you should be able to take the top off and check.

I've just had a look at mine to refresh my memory.
The red wire goes to power and the green wire goes in one side of the switch and the other terminal on the switch goes to ground. So the motor has power and the switch does nothing more than ground it out.
As far as I can tell that is how mine is wired and they park.

On some / all ? EK model wipers, there is a flat metal (brass or copper) strip that should run from the motor to the left mounting bolt (in your picture).

I had the same trouble & found it scrunched up under the motor

I understood this to be the parking earth

Mike is right, I remember now the power wire doesn't go to the switch at all but is connected straight to a power source(with a fuse of course), one earth wire goes straight to the switch and the other to ground,  the rotor button setup still works the same but through the earth side of things not power.

When i got my Fc it was a farmers car and every fuse holster had a .22 shell with foil attached not 1 glass fuse.

Thanks everyone, the bottom connection is constant earth, I guess it could be earthed to one of the mount points.
The lower contact (with the red wire in the picture) is constant power and the top contact (with the green wire in the picture) is switched earth.
If it is wired up like that the wipers park correctly.
