Hi all

was curious if i can use my fe column shift with a 3 speed all synchro box and red motor cheers

No you can't without redesigning your linkages. We had a guy in our club some years back with the same set up as you but I think he used a later model column, such as EH or HR. Even with these columns you still have to redesign your linkages.

The FC Sedan I am selling at the moment has a 186/3 speed with either an FE/FC or FB/EK column (steering wheel in your face), I can't comment on how it was done though as it was like that when I got it.
