I was checking out some pics from last weekends Bright Rod Run and came across a few pics I thought others might like to see.

This shoebox started out as a Toyota Crown.

There seemed to be a few other FE FC's also in attendence. I spied a 2 tone blue FE wagon, 2x blue / white FC sedans, cream ute, 2 tone grey FC sedan cream / brown FC wagon in the background of other pics.
Fatboy was there, or atleast his new EK ute was....perhaps he has a few other pics to share?? Please!!
Regards
Alex

Alex, heres a couple. Did you spot the powder blue and white modified FC sedan reg 'FC5LTR'? Unfortunately, the owner is definitely outside of the club scene so getting more info and pics may be not so easy. Only had a very quick look at it, but IMHO its right up there with the (supposedly!) best FCs in the Vic Club, some of which where also at Bright.
Was a top show, with a surprising number of FE/FCs and other early Holdens.

cheers jack

Looks like a great show.
Toyed with the idea of cruisin down for a day, but it's a long haul.
Should have got off my arse and made the effort.

I think that Toyota Crown shoebox was a Tassie car on debut. Single Spinner grafted over a late model Crown, V8 all electric etc. Sort of single spinner outside and when seated Toyota inside.
No hassle I believe with rego as it was only classed as body modifications. Pretty ingenious hod rod though, quite a bit "out side of the square" and apparently excellent quality in the build

Hey Fat,

ute looks good, and Christian has grown a lot taller too.

Was near Bright on the weekend, did a 500km dirt bike trip across the mountains to Omeo return to Jindabyne... nice part of the world.

Cheers

That shoebox is interesting...

Looks in proportion and that I suppose is the key.  Remember how that Commo/EK thing copped a pasting from the critics?

Jamie's car still looks cool too.

Cheers
