G'day everyone.

Here are some photos from the All GM Day - shame its not as big as the All Ford Day. The only Holden Club there was the FX-FJ Huh

Car of the show (for me) V16 Caddy;

Bill Mitchell's finest derriere?

My Mum had one of these, with apologies to the 56 Buick

36 Chev, the first of the Holden body Slopers?

Check out this wheel on a 62 Pontiac Catalina it bolts to the cast brake drum?

Cheers
John

Great pics John, thanks for sharing 'em.

Unfortunately (for us, I suppose) only the 48-FJ club(s) are invited to this day, and TTBOMK this is because the '48 was a predominantly US-designed vehicle built in Australia, like many of the pre-48 cars.

On that basis you could mount an argument that the HB Torana (based on Vauxhall Viva), the VB Commodore (based on Opel V series) and the Calibra should also be eligible Roll Eyes

It's always a great display, with a huge variety of vehicles, which just showcases the long history and huge number of marques under the GM banner.

cheers

Hey John.
Cool photos.
Thanks for taking the time to share them.
I guess you like the Caddies and rear ends.  Wink
Always a nice cross section of cars at this show.
I like that baby Buick PA.
This is cool also.

Regards
Alex

Thanks for the kind words about my website http://www.showoffyourwheels.com. We have been flat out covering as many events as time will allow considering this is a hobby of mine. The All GM day was lots of fun. Really had some fun there . Got to see a huge collection of GM might. Feel free to visit any time guys. All pictures are of good quality and freely downloadable. You might also like to know about the free buy and sell facility we offer. It is a self serve forum for buying and selling vehicles and parts. Anyway, enough rambling from me.
