Here are 3 official photos released by GMH Public Relations.
These particular photos were sent to the USA for use
in the General Motors publication GM World.

I scanned the stamps that appear on the back of each photo.
I would assume that the photographer is Raymond E Vogler.
Each photo has a stamp that catalogues the pic by GMH and also a stamp from GM World dating when the photo was received.

Each pic also has a typed strip of paper glued to the back with a short description.
The wagon text reads: "Three quarter rear view of the improved Special Station Sedan".
The sedan text is missing.
The van text reads: "Improved Holden Panel Van".

I have seen similar pics of the different models taken in the same location.

Regards
Alex

Hey guys.
No idea on colour, as they are as you see them....B&W.
In many instances, these would have been hand coloured to any colour you like.

... and these days you could photoshop 'em any colour eh Wink Wink Grin Probably easier than hand colouring too!!

Great pics Alex...! How did you come by them...?

I have also seen similar shots from what looks to be a similar location... and have seen that Sedan shot before... I'm guessing they would've been taken at Lang Lang somewhere....?

I have a photo of the SMH FC launch annoucement (very unscpectacular) which has a shot of the Sedan and model - same location etc, with the model looking at the car....

Cheers

Hey Les.
I scored them off ebay.
Bid high and bid hard did the trick.
You can see water in the background. Not sure if Lang Lang is in sight of water. If not LL, I thought it might be near Fishermans Bend.

Hi Alex,
They are from the Proving Ground. Those 'lookouts' are still there today. The trees are a bit higher these days that's all..

Cheers
