Hey Ed,

Good to see the hard work paying off. Did you have any trouble with the gaps? It's my next problem after getting bit's and pieces from here and there.
Hopefully we will catch up with respective cars at the nats! But I have to get a motor first.

Cheers

1742  Galleries / Members' FEs and FCs / Brad's Fc Ute on: July 11, 2002, 01:49:33 AM
Here are a couple of shots of an Fc ute that a friend has asked me to put on. Brad has been a little lazy in the past 8 months and the ute has not progressed much from these pics.
Maybe if we get on Brad's case a little we might see it at the nationals.
He will probably put a little info here for us as well.

Cheers

You are quick to pick things Harko... Just so happens that the side panels replaced were not to my liking so have now replaced them as of last week and a few other things within the last month. My regards to John Gilbert from Just Rust in Perth who helped me with the louvres  Grin.

Thanks Guys for the help, but the original post was awhile ago and I have changed track completely.
I have opted for the VT calipers for the front care of Hoppers Stoppers including the Vt rotor on HR drum stubs. This will match the Vt booster an the rear end.

I think that it was Ken who gave me the approximate number of FE Vans registered in OZ... 12 in total, so he may be able to help you out with FC Vans. I would also be interested.

Hi ED,

On one of the FJ sites, powered by Yahoo I think, there was a step by step process over the past few years of a estoration that was done using a "pig on the spit" he also had the details on how to build one with dimensions.

I will have a look to see if I can try and find the site to update you.

Hi guys,

As a new member of the Queensland club I am not sure of how many actually use the forum as I have only had one answer from the Queensland site.
I want to get involved a bit more but being in Cairns has is limitations and I don't want to step on toes because I am the new boy.
But as for the Nationals, every bit of info that can be put on the board should be. Maybe even a Nationals section?
I with the rest of the guys about Richards tireless work on this great site. Grin Grin Grin

I got mine from the GURU (Ken)... We're not worthy!!!
Depending at the availability of parts at the time.
Not sure on the price but he is the best way to go as the have been personally built and tested by Ken... Well that's what he told me anyway. (Just kidding Ken)

I had my Van sandblasted up here in Cairns, wasn't cheap ($1800) but I had inside and out done with all doors etc.
Can say they did an excellent job included was 2 pac primer. No rippling from heat, etc and that is probably the main thing you have to watch with sandblasting.
Still getting the blast out of the car though 6 months later.
Got rid of all the rust with out the hard work... now I just have to fix it.
Have some photo's in the photo section of the before and after if you want a look, though the photo's probably don't show as much as you need.

Hope this helps

1755  General / General Board / Re: holden vs ford on: May 06, 2002, 10:57:14 PM
That's the problem with any Holden/Ford debate, it doesn't matter with what intent the debate starts, it will always divide, and because we are for the FE/FC cause, maybe it is not a good thing that we do not get divided.
Maybe I am wrong?

1756  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Re: NOS SILL PANEL on: May 06, 2002, 10:38:59 PM
Sorry Ken, had to ask...
What happened to the rare spares sills that you could get? Did they just decide to stop making them for a reason?

1757  General / General Board / Pitman Arm Puller on: May 03, 2002, 11:01:13 PM
Have a look at ebay if anyone is interested in a Pitman arm puller.
I think it was $80.00 to start or buy now for $100.00

I'll bite...

Some guys like their girls natural...

Some guys like them to wear make up...

I prefer mine in a natural state.

1760  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: Cowl Vent on: March 26, 2002, 12:24:23 PM
Having spoken to a guy from Autobarn today he suggested that the box could have been used to catch water if the Cowl vent was open while driving when raining.
Anybody else got any ideas?
Thanks
