401  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Re: Ute venetians !!!! on: November 15, 2002, 11:24:03 AM
Hey Slim,
If you can wait till after Xmas I know of a damaged set in an FC ute. They are rusty on the bottom. I did not have a good look at them as time was getting away.
Anyhow I cant get back to this place till after harvest.
That will be in the new year

Hi Slim

Can't help you with any answers but saw a jewel attached to an FX grill emblem on a 1952 FX Sedan in a shed a couple of weeks ago. It was faded in the top half and had been on the car a long time. It is the first time I have seen a Jewl on a car.

Cheers

Hi Tony

If you could email me a copy of both that would be great.

Also got a mint Nasco Autoheat heater from the same farm hanging up in a shed.Dunno if you can shed any light on this it has a number M32051 or M32057 on the back and is similar to the Smiths.

Thanks
Gary
406  Technical Board / General Technical / Smiths Heater on: November 07, 2002, 02:22:11 PM
G'Day all

I removed a Smiths door type heater from an FC ute that had the engine removed. It is complete with demister ducts and hoses.
Where do I connect the hoses and do the demisters get screwed through the dash vents as they were on the ute. Huh

Miikael

How soon do you need them?
I am going to salvage some items off a couple of FE utes sometime in the next 4-6 weeks depending on work. I dont know the condition of any of the vehicles other than they are complete.

411  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Windlacing for FE on: August 20, 2002, 10:49:42 AM
G'Day all
The windlacing in my FE ute is starting to disintegrate.I have checked with a couple of good trimmers over here in Perth with no luck. The only windlace that is available is from Rare Spares. This is a single colour dark green, the one in my ute is a lighter green with a dark fleck.
Does anyone know if this is available in the east and if so the supplier
