My FE Ute has a fender mirror with Nasco and the part number 7384468

Parts book has two listings for the same part number one for fe/Fc utes and vans  and one for accessories

The part number one would be for WA & Vic and the accessories one would be for the other states/territories

I have installation instructions for an Air Chief Model CQJ
It is 9 pages and includes a template for the fitting of the antenna

I have looked on the 4 different models that I have but there is no reference to the model

Does anyone know what this model looks like ??

Cheers Gary

27  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Fan Shrouds on: October 10, 2018, 07:30:07 PM
I have a 186/235 with a flex fan on the motor...a high flow thermostat..a quality thermo fan that I switch on in traffic and a larger three core radiator

Hottest days 38+ idling in traffic 190 with thermo on ,  would get to 200 without the thermo on ...towing the teardrop 180 - 185 all day
28  Galleries / Original Advertisements, Brochures / Warranty card on: August 20, 2018, 07:49:27 PM
I have these two cards

Not sure if they are late FE/FC as the early FE one would not have a hole punched in it ?

29  Galleries / Original Advertisements, Brochures / Owner Manuals on: August 20, 2018, 07:37:21 PM
OK so I have some FE and FC owner manuals
I think the earliest has on page 3 that the warranty card is attached to the Lighting switch and hasnt got the bottle jack or commercial tyre pressure

The rest say its in the glovebox

Then there is the revised print dated 11/56 and I have 3 that have slight variations and an extra page

The last one is revised print dated 10/57

I have 4 FC manuals and there are variations to 3

Also interesting to note that panel vans and utes are mentioned in all the FE ones

34  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: FC Coil mounting point on: November 15, 2017, 11:24:51 PM
I have a 58 FE with the original engine and it has the mounting between 4 & 5
I also have an FB engine that is also between 4 & 5

I have seen FC's with the mounting between 3 & 4 also. Not sure what years they were

Maybe it was different companys that made them

Gary it was a 53 block not sure what it was out of. Possibly speedway with those extractors....the drive shaft is very thick so maybe the block was out of a boat??
